A Bright Spot

I remember that growing up as a little girl we use to go around family all the time. We were involved in Family Reunions, Picnics, Vacations and so on. I personally had a lot of cousins since both my parents came from very large families so I was never alone growing up. I always had someone around to help me with things I could not do alone, someone was always there to play with me and help me when I scrapped my knee falling out of a tree. I grew up to realize that family means everything and you should never take it for granted!

What's the big idea? I don't know. But maybe we can find an answer to life's big questions in art..

A Bright Spot

6 years ago I was given the greatest gift ever. You forget about the first time you kissed a boy, the first time you drove a car and the day you got your drivers license. YOu forget all about your first date and they way it felt to hold a guys hand for the first time. You forget all about the milestone in your life when you are making your own money with your very first job. You forget about the day you walked down that isle when you finally graduated from high school. You forget about all the great things that happened to you in your life the day you hold your child for the first time.

A Bright Spot

I went to the pet store trying to decide what kind of pet I would like to have. I looked at the fish, and the lizards, the turtles and the frogs. There was a bright red tomato frog in a terrarium, facing out toward the aisle where I was standing. I stopped to say hello. As I went to leave, his little front foot came up to touch the glass, as if to say, "Don't leave - take me with you!" And that's the story of how Beefsteak, the tomato frog, came into my life.

A Bright Spot

I had a vine hanging in my entry way which was completely dried out. It looked like it was dead for a few months so I stopped watering it. Then I noticed one tiny little green leaf on a little green stalk. I ripped off all of the dry leaves and vines and started watering it on a regular basis. The plant has been growing strong for a few weeks now. How wonderous!!
