challenges

Today, I move on to something new, something different, a new challenge. A dooring is closing, I did not want to close. I pick myself up, dust myself off and find a new challenge. For me, life is about learning, exploring and feeling alive. I'm ready for the next adventure.

My bright spot would be watching my son advance and grow while training on the local swim team and then competing each week. He is now an above-knee amputee as he was born with birth abnormalities. Despite his physical challenges, he often places first in his division at the meets. He swims against able-bodied children.
